The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention North Texas Chapter held their annual “Out of the Darkness” Walk to support those families who have suffered a loss from a suicide and others who themselves have struggled with depression. The event was well attended and took place on October 27th 2018 at Addison Circle in Addison, Texas.

Many of Restore Brain’s staff joined over 5,000 people to show their support for those who have the courage to speak about those suffering from incidents of suicide in their family or friends. Jack Cavanagh. one of Restore Brain’s staff members, along with Carla Weatherford and Ryan Jeter from Neuronetics were on staff to show their support. 

Community support and service is a big part of Restore Brain's mission. We like to show that we are active in the community and like to think that we meet people- ``where they are in life.`` Each person has a unique journey and events like this allow us to celebrate and remember that.

TMS coordinator for Restore Brain, Carla Weatherford has been an active person the field of depression and suicide for many years. She stated, “the show of support by the community from so many families, clinicians, businesses is inspiring. Restore Brain is a community based, patient-centric company that supports those who are struggling from behavioral health issues and that is why we are here”

As you can see their was a wide number of support.The Dallas Mavericks were there with their mascot, Champ. Many other local medical providers and hospitals were there to meet and celebrate the day.
